Abstracts, excluding title, authors’ names and affiliations, must be of maximum 2000 characters (approximately 300 words). The main body of the abstract should be structured with the following headings:
For original studies: Background, Objectives, Methods, Results, and Conclusions.
For case reports: Background, Case Presentation, and Conclusions.
Please avoid using abbreviations in the title, if possible. Please reduce to a minimum the use of abbreviations in the main body of the abstract. If you must use an abbreviation, define it upon first use.
Figures and tables should not be included in your abstract.
References can be included in your abstract but will be included in your word count.
You must not include your abstract title or author names in the abstract document.
